In early
2007, Asia Insight organised a company outing to Chiangmai,
northern Thailand. On the last day of the trip, our staff took
time out to visit the Care Corner Orphanage Foundation, to spend
some time with the less privileged children, many of whom were
orphaned at an early age, or came from Thai families who were
destroyed by drug addiction or AIDS.
Since then, Asia Insight has created the Asia Insight Education
Fund (AIEF) which sponsors the university educational needs of 4
youths from the Care Corner Orphanage Foundation. They are Ladee
and Suwana who attend the Chiangmai Rajhatpaht University, and
Sanya and Jenpop who go to the Chiangmai Technical College. As we contribute to their educational journey and
success, we hope that we are able to make a small difference in
their young lives, and perhaps through them in future, help to
make a difference in the world.

Based in Chiangmai, Thailand, Care
Corner Orphanage Foundation first started with 28 children
in 1995. By March 1999, there were 86 children housed at the
orphanage, with many more on the waiting list. With the
primary goal of providing spiritual development based on the
Bible, the Orphanage provides basic education, primary
health care and utmost moral guidance for the children as
they grow. With many children from families devastated by drug
addiction or AIDS, the orphanage also provides shelter for
girls who would otherwise be lured into prostitution.
